As the owner of this boutique, I’m very intentional about what we bring in. Every piece has to feel elevated, timeless, coastal, and confidence-boosting. Montce checks every one of those boxes—honestly, it’s one of those brands that you fall in love with the moment you try it on.

And yes… I’m obsessed. From the moment I walked in to their showroom in NYC, I knew this was a brand for the Turquoise Waters Girls!

The Story That Made Me Fall in Love with Montce

Montce is a true South Florida success story. Its founder, Alexandra “Ali” Grief, started the brand back in 2009 from her Fort Lauderdale apartment. She handcrafted custom swim pieces while customers—friends, neighbors, locals—would stop by for fittings in her living room. It was small, personal, and rooted in creativity.

That authenticity is something I deeply relate to as a boutique owner.

By 2013, Montce opened its first little boutique—a second-floor space with zero street visibility… and yet, people still found their way there. Why? Because once someone tried Montce, they couldn’t imagine wearing anything else. The fit spoke for itself.

As the brand grew, Ali’s brother, Devin, left his career in NYC to join her. Together, they turned Montce into a family-run powerhouse that now has four flagship locations, a 40+ person team, and over 100 retailers around the world...and NOW, Turquoise Waters is one of them!! How exciting?!!

It’s still built on the same foundation: craftsmanship, comfort, and truly incredible fits.
